Deer Season Has Started!

I am so excited that Deer season has finally rolled in. My dad and I have gone three times so far but, have killed nothing. I really want to kill some does so we don't have to buy meat for a while. I have never been hunting with my dad and actually killed a deer. I really want to kill a deer with him this season.

My Birthday Party!

My birthday is party is today! We are going to go camping at Hunting Island in the RV. My dad bought an app on his phone called Geocatching, it's where people hide stuff around the country and you have to find them using a map. We are going to do that and maybe go on the beach and in the woods. We are going to cook hot dogs and smores on the fire and stay up late. I'm really excited.

Math Fractions

In math, I am learning about fractions. I am learning about multiplying, dividing, adding, and subtracting them. I really hate doing problems like this: 250 * 5/7. The division is the easiest. All you have to do is use multiplication instead of division.

Guitar Lessons

I just started homeschooling and when I went to Okatie Elementary (my old school) I played the saxophone in band. When we moved to homeschooling I had to give up the saxophone and I still wanted to play an instrument. So I decided to play the guitar.
I really like the guitar. I am playing at a church in Beaufort. My teacher's name is Mr. Kimball, he has been playing guitar for 25 years. So far I can read guitar chords and play Twinkle Twinkle. I like guitar better than the saxophone. It is harder to play but, is more fun to play.

Om-Kas-Toe

I just finished reading this book in homeschooling. It is called Om-Kas-Toe. It is about an Indian boy in the Blackfeet tribe. Their enemy has something they are using against them. They Blackfeet tribe calls them Elkdogs but, in reality they are horses. The spanish soldiers have brought them to America and traded them to different tribes. Unfortunately the enemy tribe has gotten some of the horses. The Blackfeet tribe want some horses but, the only way they can get them is to steal them. Read the book to find out what happens next.

An Update

2011 and 2012 have passed, it is now 2013. I am 10 years old now and turning 11 in October. I quit Karate and am sticking with swimming. Swimming and Football are my favorite sports. I really like swimming because it is a year-round sport and you you never get hot and sweaty because you are in the water.
